Description
This internship is an opportunity to gain real-world sales and merchandising experience in the fast-paced beverage industry. Interns will work alongside our sales team to support the growth and in store execution of some of the industry’s most recognized brands, including Red Bull, Miller Lite, Truly Hard Seltzer, and Sun Cruiser. Through ride alongs, account visits, and merchandising support, interns will learn how beverage products are marketed, distributed, and sold at the retail level. You'll develop valuable skills in sales strategy, customer relationship management, and territory execution.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in executing high-quality sales calls across assigned accounts, learning the structure and strategy behind effective customer interactions
- Support merchandising efforts by ensuring products are properly stocked, displayed, and presented according to company standards
- Identify opportunities to increase product visibility through creative displays, improved shelf placement, and promotional execution
- Analyze account conditions and provide feedback to the sales team on opportunities to improve sales, distribution, and product presence
- Collaborate with merchandisers and sales representatives to maintain strong in-store execution and customer relationships
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels, product freshness, and code dates to ensure only high-quality, sellable packages are available to customers
- Participate in ride-alongs and account visits to develop a deeper understanding of sales strategy, territory management, and customer partnership
- Support sales initiatives, promotions, and new product launches by helping ensure proper placement and execution in assigned accounts
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Management, Sales Management, Marketing or related degree field
- GPA above 3.0
- Must live in the Destin, FL area or be able to reliably commute. We do not provide relocation assistance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Interest in the beverage industry is a plus!
- Access to reliable transportation. If driving an automobile while on company business, you must possess a valid driver’s license in your state of residence and auto insurance. Must be able to pass a background check.
Demonstrated ability to:
- Work effectively with internal and external individuals, including other professionals in the community.
- Effectively communicate to various internal and external audiences in both person and through various electronic media.
- Manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Additional Details
- $18/hour
- Monthly gas reimbursement
- Reports directly to Area Sales Manager
- Must live or be able to reasonable commute to the Destin/San Destin area. Relocation assistance is not provided
- 8-to-12-week program
- Flexible start date, May/June of 2026
