Position Description – Energy Captain

Reports to: Red Bull Sales Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Energy Captain is responsible for helping lead, support, direct and control the sales and merchandising activities for the Red Bull Family in all accounts serviced by Gulf Allstate Beverage Company as well as assisting in the day-to-day operations.

DESCRIPTION OF PHYSICAL TASKS

Keep shelves and vendors clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case). Pushes/pulls hand truck to machine or shelves and loads appropriate company products. Volume will vary per account and will range from 1 case to over 1000 at any given time. Climbing in and out of vehicle and proper lifting techniques

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  1. Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between assigned Company and Red Bull North America.
  2. Continually monitor and update brand sales in order to achieve goals set by GDH and RBNA.
  3. Conduct Daily/Weekly/Monthly Sales meetings to discuss all Red Bull related items.
  4. Coach and develop the Sales Teams to grow on PIITCHER, PSA, WvC, and other initiatives.
  5. Work with the Management team of Gulf Distributing Holdings to stay abreast of changing company directives.
  6. Ensure that all Sales Routes are covered and ran as needed each and every day.
  7. Report to the Management all changes in or additional directives set forth by Red Bull North America.
  8. Provide all requested information regarding sales, inventory levels, and promotional activity/results.
  9. Drive promotions in the On and Off Premise accounts.
  10. Ensure product is ordered correctly to fill demand and ensure quality by all teams.
  11. Assist in designing monthly sales goals for the Sales teams focusing on promotions, distribution, and volume.
  12. Ensure all paper and permanent Point of Sale is used in the proper manner and quantity.
  13. Keep marketing plan and all tracking charts updated daily.
  14. Actively participate in all incentive programs.
  15. Maintain and balance all routes on monies and inventories through the month.
  16. Conduct bi-weekly and monthly inventory counts of product in warehouse of product.
  17. Maintain a positive working relationship with the owners, managers, and employees of assigned accounts.
  18. Be aware of all competitive activity and opportunities to increase sales in your assigned accounts.
  19. Advise and train the retailers and their employees in the proper methods of selling, merchandising, and pricing of the products you supply to them.
  20. Coordinate and assist with unloading of deliveries into the warehouse along with assisting of loading EBM trucks as needed.
  21. Maintain a clean warehouse for product, breakage, and POS at all times.
  22. Stay on top of scheduled maintenance of the fleet for ABC.
  23. Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of GDH.
  24. Obey all Gulf ABC Company policies, while acting in a professional manner in all accounts.
  25. Dress and maintain personal appearance in a professional manner in accordance to company policies and procedures
  26. Always practice safe work habits.
  27. Monitor and assist with behaviors of all team members.
  28. Report all accidents and injuries to immediate supervisors immediately.
  29. Other duties as assigned.
